MRS. ANNIE ELIZABETH CUNNINGHAM

A long illness preceded the death of Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Cunningham, 84, of 434 W. State Street St., at 9:15 this morning at the Bel-Air Nursing Home.

Born in Griswold County, Kansas, she lived in this area most of her life, coming to Alliance from Augusta in 1901. She lived in Deerfield from 1927-43.

She was a member of the Union Avenue Methodist Church.

Her husband, Leonard W., died in January of 1943.

Surviving are four sons, Perry W. of Lima, Richard A., of Salem and Woodrow W. and Earl R., both of Alliance; two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Hartzell of Beloit R. D. 1 and Mrs. D. A. Barnes of Alliance; two half-brothers, Charles Checkler of St. Louis,MO and Fred Sheckler of Alliance; six grandchildren and and seven great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Harold Ewing will conduct services at 1:30 p. m. Friday at the Cassaday and Turkle Funeral Home, where friends may call from 7-8 p,m. Thursday.

Burial will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
