Citation details: Friday, June 9, 1837 Text: DIED - At his residence in this county, on the 26th ult. of apoplexy, MR. JOHN MORLEDGE, in the 55th year of his age. Mr. Morledge waS a gentleman of great moral worth and respectable attainments. Ardently devoted to agricutural pursuits, hehad done much not only to promote his own interests, but the general interests of the farmers of his neighborhood, also. In his private relations, he was hospitable, kind and affectionate; and his decease is lamented by all who knew him. |
