HELENA JOAN DANGELO, 90 passed away Saturday at the Blossom Nursing Home in Salem.

She was born May 20, 1918, in Summitville, Ohio, to the late Patsy and Angeline (Carlone) Dangelo. She lived most of her life in Brooklyn, N.Y., before moving to Canton and then to Salem.

Danelo was as AT&T operator by profession and a member of St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church in Summitville.

She is survived by five brothers, John A. Sr., Ralph, Peter and James F. Dangelo, all of Salineville, Ohio, and Paul Dangelo of Carrollton; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were two sisters, Anna Dangelo and Dorothy Dematto, and two brothers, Michael and Joseph Dangelo.

A viewing will be held at Maple-Cotton Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at St. John's the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Paul P. Tully officiating. Burial will follow atSt. John's Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Maple Cotton Funeral Home in Kensington.
