Corwin "Corky" Manfull

Corwin "Corky" Manfull Age 79, of Minerva, died Thursday August 13, 2009 in the Alliance Community Hospital. He was born August 28, 1929 in Mechanicstown to Ralph and Flo (Gamble) Manfull. He retired from PCC after 33 years of service where he wasa maintenance foreman. He was also a greenskeeper for the Lake Mohawk Golf Course. He is a member of the Minerva First Presbyterian Church, a Marine Veteran of the Korean War and member of VFW Post #3747 in Canton, Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199,Lisbon Lodge #65 F&AM, and the Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton.

He is survived by his wife, Mary (Gimroth) Manfull, who he married September 15, 1971; children, Darrell (Virginia) Manfull of Canton, Randy (Cathi) Manfull of Canal Fulton, George Manfull of Hedgeville, WV, Daniel (Jan) Oberg of Syracuse, Utah,James (Barbara) Snoeberger of Augusta, and Deborah Adams of Minerva; two sisters, Sarah (Andrew) Tamper of Houston, TX, and Pearl Briceland of Summitville; a brother, Robert (Marjorie) Manfull of Mechanicstown; 13 grandchildren and 12great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret VanFossen and Martha Jane Davison; two brothers, Cary and Samuel Manfull; and a stepbrother, Emmet Tarr.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. John Lane officiating.

Burial with full military honors will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home where Masonic Services will be held at 6:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minerva First PresbyterianChurch.
