Note	March 7, 1929 The Free Press Standard -- Carroll Co., OH Mary Jane Weir Mrs. Mary Jane Weir, 82, of Mechanicstown, died Monday, March 4, at the home of her son, John D. Weir in Washington Tp. She was born September 22, 1846 in Augusta Tp and was a daughter of Daniel and Martha DeFord. On October 24, 1866 she wasmarried to Samuel Weir in Augusta Tp., who preceded her in death six months ago. Mrs. Weir is survived by three sons, John D., at whose home she died, Edwin E. of Washington Tp and Thomas D. of Cleveland; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Manfull ofAugusta, Mrs. H. L. Gans of Canton and Mrs. Annie Snively of Eldorado, Kansas. One son, Oliver died several years ago. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church in Mechanicstown with Rev. W. O. Nagel of Clarksville,Pa., officiating. Interment was made in Mechanicstown.
