John and Cathrine were the parents of 10 children 6 girls and 4 boys.John came to Tennessee as a young man in 1816 and lived for a short time in Lincoln County, then moved to Madison County Ala.in 1819 moved To Wayne County Tn.where he raised his family and followed farming until his death.This was taken from a biograph by Elihu McGlamery.
Lousia McGlamery 1822-after 1880 last knowned place was Butler County Missouri was already Widowed Married to Thomas B. Morrison July 27,1834 in Wayne Tennessee.
Susanah McGlamery 1830 Wayne Tn.She married John Morrison Nov.4,1846 in Wayne Tn. John Died 1862 Dont know what happened to Susannah after that, death date unknown burial unknown.

Daughter of Marcus B. Fowler and Sarah Jackson. Second wife of Solon Lee Curtis Whitten. They had children: Martha Lou Ester Minerva Angeline Whitten, Eli Keasley Whitten, George Monroe Whitten, Madgie Lee Whitten, Little Solon Whitten, and John Berlin Whitten. Also adopted son, Willis Fox Whitten.

Notes in Whitten family history say she died of arsenic poisoning, thought to be given to her by her husband. It was never proved and he was never charged.
