Citation details: Obituary, Sat 13 Feb 1971 Text: Sam J Iden, 86, of 852 Grant St, Minerva died suddenly at his home this morning. Mr Iden, who spent his lifetime in the Minerva area, was born near Augusta Feb 4, 1885, the son of John [Edwin W] and [Laura] Matilda Rodebaugh Iden. He was a retired railroad inspector with the former New York Central Railroad. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Minerva and the Loyal Men's Bible Class. Funeral services will be held at the Bartley Funeral Home Tuesday 1:30 pm with Mr Arthur Guy of the Minerva First Christian Church officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. |
