Barbara Ann Patton Services for Barbara Ann Patton, 68, of Painesville Township, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 250 Bowhall Road, in Painesville. Mrs. Patton passed away July 28, 2005, at University Hospitals, in Cleveland. Born Nov. 6, 1936, in Slainesville, she had lived in Lake County for the past 41 years. She was a 1955 graduate of Minerva High School. She was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was a loving mother and grandmother who was known for her holiday and family dinners. Mrs. Patton worked as a sales associate in the children's department at Sears in Mentor for 20 years, retiring in January 2002. Survivors are her husband, Richard; sons, David Patton of Painesville Township and James Charles (Kathryn) Patton of Painesville Township; daughters, Mary Anne (John) Hird of Madison, Susan (Brian) Foster of Painesville Township, and Cathy (Rick)Rugg of Russell Township; 10 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and sisters, Ruth Belich of Salem, Dora (Joe) Kiester of Minerva, and Ona Mae Yingst of Minerva. Her granddaughter, Suzanne Patton; parents, Alex Carter and Minnie Mae (Beadnell) Locke; stepfather, Howard Locke; and sisters, Grace Davis and Maxine Enoch, are deceased. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., in Painesville. The Rev. Mark Matzke of the church will officiate the services.
