Ruby Ethel Mayse - Marion Star, The - (Jul/9/2004) MARION -- Ruby Ethel Mayse, 85, 279 Midlam Ave., passed away at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Born Dec. 3, 1918, in Pedro, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Claranda (Loper) Arbaugh. She married Millard Mayse and he preceded her in death. She had been employed by Marion City Schools as lunch room manager. She is survived by a daughter, Esther Long, Marion; a stepson, Richard Conners, Waldo; a grandchild and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three children, five brothers and five sisters. The funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Marion Enterprise Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred L. Buckner officiating. Burial is in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Gunder/Hall & Folk FuneralDirectors.
