OBITUARY FAYE L. KINSEY Published May 9, 1986 Newspaper Unknown MINERVA - Faye L. Kinsey, 60, 122 Arbor Road, N.E., died at 5 p.m. Thursday at Aultman Hospital in Canton. She had suffered a stroke last Saturday at her home. Mrs. Kinsey was born Aug. 24, 1925, in Pekin, to Joseph and Elizabeth McGoogan Brothers, and was graduated from Minerva High School in 1943. She was a member of Stillfork Presbyterian Church in Augusta and American Association of Retired Persons. Mrs. Kinsey is survived by her husband, William C., whom she married March 1, 1946; three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Linda) Riesen of Alliance, and Barbara K. Rotondo and Mrs. Fred (Patti) Catlett, both of Minerva; a son Wallace C. of Minerva; fivesisters, Virginia Keister, Velma Brothers, Mrs. Eugene (Nola) Gearin, Mrs. Lester (Norma) Andrews and Frances Grogg, and a brother, Eugene Brothers, all of Minerva; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Josephine andMargaret, and a brother, Richard. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home, with the Rev. Fred Hofer and the Rev. Dick Jones officiating. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. Friends may call 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. (5-9-86)

Jim L. Riesen Jim L. Riesen, age 60, of Alliance, died Thursday, December 30, 2004 in his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 10, 1944 in Kensington, OH to the late Alfred and Marjorie (Pryor) Riesen. He was a letter carrierforthe Alliance Post Office for 32 years, a 1962 graduate of West Branch High School, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a member of the Alliance American Legion Post #166. He was also a member of Stillfork Presbyterian Church inAugustaand a member of the Wed. Bowling League at Parkway Lanes in Alliance. He is survived by wife, Linda (Kinsey) Riesen, whom he married December 4, 1965; three daughters, Charlene Riesen of Norfolk, VA, Mrs. Victor (Sara) Kubankin of Salem, and Mrs. Richard (Marcia) Phillis of Salem; two sons, Matthew Riesen ofSalemand Steven Riesen of Casper, WY; four sisters, Mary Ann Sanor of Kensington, Mrs. Robert (Thelma) Wise of Alliance, Mrs. Steve (Kathy) Perkins of Minerva and Pat Wickline of East Liverpool; one brother, William Riesen of Alliance;ninegrandchildren, five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by three sisters, Rose Schrader, Barbara Floor and Caroline Riesen; three brothers, Bruce Riesen, Jerry Riesen and Richard Riesen. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Stillfork Presbyterian Church in Augusta with Rev. Jim Rice officiating. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva and also one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Alliance Hospice.
