Two Die in Minerva Fire Early Monday Arson Suspect Denies Charge In Fatal Blast Frank Louive Sr., 61, of Minerva, R.D.1, pleaded innocent in Municipal Court this morning to a charge of arson in connection with an explosion and fire early yesterday morning which claimed the lives of two Minerva Residents. Municipal Judge Rex Russell set June 14 as the date for the requested preliminary hearing on the charge, a felony punishable by imprisonment for from two to 20 years. Bond for Louive was continued at $100,000 by Russell, and he was committed to the Stark County jail for failure to make bond. Treated For Burns Stark County Sheriff deputies allegedly arrested Louive shortly after the 3:20 a.m. explosion and fire, which killed Lloyd Wickersham, 53, and his wife, Leona, 50, occupants of the structure located at 13838 Lincoln Way, S. E., Minerva Louive had been burned about the head and arms, and was treated at Aultman Hospital, Canton, and released to deputies.
