CLYDE MURRY TOTTEN Clyde Murry Totten, age 94, of Malvern, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, while in the company of family members as Minerva Eldercare. He was born in Oneida, Ohio, on Nov. 8, 1913, the son of the late Logan and Bessie (Slingluff) Totten. Clyde worked as a machinist at Burns Coldforge for 13 years, 3 C Camp in Dilland, Mont. He was a 1932 Malvern High School graduate. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Rosa I. (Summers) Totten; three daughters, Julia M. Davis of Carrollton, Carol L. (Bud) Makar-Gibbs of Girdwood, Ark., Nancy E. (Dale) Minor of Edmond, Okla; three granddaughtes, four grandsons; threegreat-granddaughters; and four great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by brothers, Carl and Albert; and sister, Marjorie Totten. The family wishes to thank the staff at Minerva Eldercare and Doctor Louis Shaheen and staff for their wonderful care. Following cremation, services will be held at a later date. Rosa Iwilda Totten 91, of Malvern, died, Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at Minerva Eldercare following a short illness .Rosa was born in Malvern, OH on October 10, 1918, the daughter of the late Freemont Ross and Kathryn Anna (Houz) Summers. She worked as the Clerk forBrown Township for ten years retiring in 1986. She also worked as a secretary at Furey Motor Service in Malvern. Rosa is survived by three daughters, Julia M. Davis of Strasburg, Carol L. Makar-Gibbs of Alaska, Nancy E. Minor of Oklahoma; a sister, Ilene Smith of Bolivar, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Thanks to Dr. Stanley Bertman andstaff. Special thanks to Minerva Eldercare for their wonderful care and all the special poeple who meant so much to Rosa. She is preceded in death by parents, her husband Clyde Totten who will be buried with her, a sisters Alice Smith, Irene O'Hartz and brothers Lester Summers, Chester R. Summers, and Walter S. Summers. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 in Bethlehem Cemetery, with Rev. Chris Davis officiating.
