The-Review.com Nora O. Locke Steven Wiandt September 21, 2005 Nora O. Locke, 99, of Minerva, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at the Golden Age Retreat in Carrollton, Ohio. Born in Newell, W.Va., Jan. 8, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alta Newell. She was a seamstress and a homemaker. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Russel A. and Wenda Locke of Minerva, daughter-in-law Bernice Tennant of Minerva, sister Mary Knight of Augusta, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar E. Locke, in 1991; sons Clyde and Raymon Tennant; granddaughter Ramona Whitacre; and brothers Frank and Raymond Newell. Graveside services will be held at the East Lawn Cemetery in Minerva, Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Ford officiating. Bartley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
