LAFAYETTE KINSEY Lafayette Charles "Lafe" Kinsey, age 84, of Augusta, died at his home Saturday, August 8, 1998. He was born in Wellsville, OH, on January 29, 1914, the son of the late Thomas and Emma (Hiner) Kinsey. He worked at the Sealtest Receiving Stationfor 25 years, and was the custodian at the Augusta School for 12 years. He was a World War II Army veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Kaye Cox of East Rochester; son, Jeffrey Lynn Kinsey of Minerva; brother, William Kinsey of Minerva; sisters, Dorothy Locke of Minerva, Evelyn Kinsey of Cleveland, Emma Rhodes of Cleveland, Christina Osslerof Carrollton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou (Totten) Kinsey Dean; brothers, Thomas and George and sisters, Mary Turnipseed and Pauline Brown. Funeral services will be held at the Bartley Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 1998, with William Bush, minister officiating. Burial will be at Augusta Cemetery.

THE ALLIANCE REVIEW MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2006 Dorothy M. Locke Dorothy M. Locke, 89, a lifetime resident of Augusta and Augusta Township, died Saturday morning, Nov. 11, 2006, in her home. She was born Nov. 25, 1916, in Wellsville to Thomas and Emma (Hiner) Kinsey. She was a housewife and lifetime member ofthe Stillfork Presbyterian Church in Augusta and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. She worked as an electrical switch box assembler for eight years for former American Switch in Minerva. She graduated from Augusta High School in 1934. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don C. Locke Sr., who died Nov. 6, 1982; two sisters, Pauline Brown and Mary Turnipseed; and three brothers Thomas, Lafayette, and George Kinsey. She is survived by a daughter, Karen (William) Gruszecki of Lisbon; a son, Don (Theresa) Locke Jr. of Minerva; three sisters, Christina Ossler of Carrollton, Emma Rhodes of Cleveland and Evelyn Kinsey of Cleveland; a brother, William Kinsey ofEast Canton; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Stillfork Presbyterian Church in Augusta with the Rev. James Rice and the Rev. James Ford officiating. Burial will be in the Augusta Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at theGotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva and one hour prior to services at the church.
