MICHAEL J. LEATHERBERRY Michael J. Leatherberry, 50, of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005. He was born on Jan. 14, 1955, in Canton, living in the Wadsworth/Norton area most of his life. He was a skilled carpenter for over 30 years. He is survived by his father, Ernest J. Leatherberry of Massillon; former wife, Cheryl Leatherberry of Norton; sister and brother-in-law, Lin and Dale Oberlin of Canton; brother and fiancee, Rick Leatherberry and Stacy Sutherland, both of Media,Pa; and brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Kim Leatherberry of Cape Coral, Fla.; five nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lottie Lou (Lippincott) Leatherberry. Celebration of his life will be held at St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church, 4600 Fulton Dr. N.W., Jackson Township, on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005, at 7 p.m., with Pastor Bruce Roth officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 5p.m.,prior to the service. In memoryof Mike's mom, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
